Solstice
Casework wanted to bring together their community of friends, families and collaborators to celebrate the longest day of the year. So, the plan formulated to host a picnic at the Skidmore bluffs—a Portland favorite for sunset viewing on long summer nights. The invite graphics reflect two key landmarks. One, the first time the summer solstice has coincided with a full moon since 1948, and two, a local landmark in sight of the park, the Fremont bridge. Casework teamed up with artist Ursula Barton to create enamel pins to hand out to picnickers.
